7.10.08; Grass Fire; NYS Thruway @ Mott Road Overpass [PHOTOS]
The Phelps Fire Department was dispatched for a reported grass fire this afternoon on
the New York State Thruway, at the Mott Road Overpass. A NYS Trooper arrived on
the scene and attempted to extinguish, with no success. Phelps Brush Truck 2151
and Engine 2131 responded, and had the fire under control within minutes.
